As the big name superheroes are already almost all snatched up for the big screen, Marvel plucked an unusual character for an upcoming feature film.
According to reports, Paul Rudd will star in "Ant-Man," about a biochemist who develops a formula to help him communicate with and control insects.
Directed by Edgar Wright, the flick will reportedly include both original Ant-Man Hank Pym, as well as the later one, Scott Lang.
According to Wright in an interview with SuperHeroHype, "The idea that we have for the adaptation is to actually involve both... Henry Pym and Scott Lang. So you actually do a prologue where you see Pym as Ant-Man in action in the 60's, in sort of 'Tales to Astonish' mode basically, and then the contemporary, sort of flash-forward, is Scott Lang's story, and how he comes to acquire the suit, how he crosses paths with Henry Pym, and then, in an interesting sort of Machiavellian way, teams up with him."
