Ivan Reitman?s ?Draft Day? Trailer (Video) starring Kevin Costner

The first trailer for Ivan Reitman’s ‘Draft Day’ has debuted. The football drama stars Kevin Costner as the general manager of the Cleveland Browns who faces the challenge of saving his beleaguered team. The highly anticipated movie was directed by Ivan Reitman of ‘Ghostbusters’ and more recently ‘Up in the Air’ legacy. The script was co-written by playwright and Cleveland native Rajiv Joseph and Scott Rothman. It’s all the more anticipated as the script made the top of the 2012 Black List. Kevin Costner portrays Cleveland Browns general manager Sonny Weaver as the unfolding events take place on a single day — that being a rather important one, the titular NFL Draft day — which sees him with a chance to better his team by trading for the number 1 draft pick. The notion of a movie taking place solely on that day is quite intriguing in and of itself. One hopes it has the makings of the next iconic football flick.
