Soap Dish: Maurice Benard Staying at General Hospital
It is Soap Dish time again and this week I am dishing all about the fabulous news that Maruice Benard is staying on General Hospital! Maurice shared the news with fans via Twitter that he will continue to play the character of Sonny Corinthos. This is the message he sent to fans a couple of days ago. “I just signed my contract for General Hospital. It makes me feel good that I am not leaving my family.” I tell you what Maurice it maks me as a fan feel good that you will still be with the show. I can’t imagine GH without Sonny, who would everyone hate and try to pin all the crimes on. Plus the storyline with A.J. is heating up and as usual Benard is bringing his A-game. I have been a fan of Maurices for years. Although he came onto the GH canvas during a time when I didn’t watch the show, I took a little hiatus, it was actually because of him that I started to tune in again.
