Just four days before its Christmas Day release, Universal Pictures released a new trailer for "Les Mis�rables" (December 21).
In the newest clip, Samantha Barks' character �ponine sings the emotional song, "On My Own" while scenes from the musical reboot unfold.
Set in 19th-century France, the film follows Jean Valjean, who for decades has been hunted by the ruthless policeman Javert after he breaks parole. He agrees to care for factory worker Fantine's daughter, Cosette. The fateful decision changes their lives forever.
Joining Samantha in the cast of the popular Broadway remake are Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, and Eddie Redmayne.
