Conan's First Guests & The Future of 'Jersey Shore': TV Tidbits You Need to Know

Well, that's it, folks. Jersey Shore aired its Season 2 finale on Thursday. Now where will you go for your weekly fix of hot tub hookups? MTV's Real World: Las Vegas doesn't start until March. But chin up, Shore fans, you won't have to wait long for Season 3. It premieres Jan. 6.

What can viewers expect? "All the relationships start taking a turn, some for the good, some for the bad," executive producer SallyAnn Salsano told The Hollywood Reporter. "The kids legitimately grow up and come into their own in front of your eyes."

Though rumors are swirling about Pauly D and Snooki spinoffs, Salsano won't get specific. "We shoot with the kids all the time," she says. "We’re always constantly shooting with them in their lives. I don't know if there is anything official."

In other TV news, Jenny McCarthy is developing a "women-empowering" talk show on Oprah Winfrey's new network, OWN. In this clip, she's giving Jimmy Kimmel the lowdown. Hopefully, Oprah wasn't watching.

Meanwhile, Whoopi Goldberg's still doing damage control over the Bill O'Reilly blowup on The View. She says she had a reason for walking off the set when O'Reilly said something offensive: Goldberg told Greta Van Susteren that she "was going to cuss him out" and knew that could have gotten her fired.

Last but not least, Conan O'Brien has announced the names of stars visiting his show during its premiere week (TBS, Nov. 8, 11 p.m. ET). Here's who you'll be treated to:
