Anne Hathaway stars opposite Jim Sturgess in the upcoming film One Day (in theaters Aug. 19) -- and the 28-year-old actress perfectly sums up the movie's premise. "(It's) a story of their friendship and how it changes and grows over the course of 20 years," she says in this exclusive featurette.
Because the film chronicles the evolving relationship between the main characters, Emma and Dexter, over two decades, the stars and creators were faced with quite the challenge. "It was going to take a lot of changes and nuances from year to year -- through the clothes, through the hair, through the makeup," explains Hathaway.
