Selena Gomez Poses Topless in V Magazine, Talks Justin Bieber in Candid Interview

Selena Gomez graces the cover of V Magazine topless and the photo, in which she appears underage, is sparking controversy. She is also extremely candid in the interview on Justin Bieber, her boyfriend of past and occasional present, and that’s raising a few eyebrows as well. Selena Gomez most recently drew headlines with ‘The Heart Wants What It Wants,’ a poignant ballad which appears to be about Justin Bieber, from all appearances, and certainly from the content of the lyrics; “The future that we hold is so unclear / but I?m not alive until you call…” and so on (video below). It is the very title of this song that has been re-purposed as the headline for the cover story. That’s probably about the least controversial element of this striking — some would say shocking — cover image that some are dubbing “Lolita.” For the record, the one-time child star is now 22 years old, but one would never know it from looking at the V Magazine cover in which she appears, at best, to be around 12 old, and assuming a provocative and thoroughly age-inappropriate pose.
