Securing a familiar face to please fans, director Bryan Singer convinced Halle Berry to return to her role as Storm in "X-Men: Days of Future Past."
The upcoming sequel follows the heroes as they head back in time to change a major historical event that could globally impact both man and mutantkind.
In an interview with ComingSoon.net, the 46-year-old actress confirmed her appearance and noted, "You know, I always love to do more as Storm. That's a character that I really love and people seem to respond well to me playing Storm."
"X-Men: Days of Future Past" stars Jennifer Lawrence, Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Ellen Page, Peter Dinklage, Ian McKellen, and Patrick Stewart. Check it out in theaters on July 18, 2014.
